Ella is an entrepreneur and business builder with experience in education, SME development and regional business growth.
She founded KMC Brain Memory in 2015, training more than 10,000 adults and students. She later co-founded Kindle Mind, which expanded across Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia with 37 centres. She is currently a shareholder of Kindle Mind and serves as a Women Bureau committee member at SME Malaysia Association.
While operating these businesses, Ella kept hearing about ESG-linked corporate requirements, grants, loans and new opportunities. Yet even after attending ESG sessions, she still could not see a simple way to translate the concept into day-to-day action inside an SME.
That experience led her to establish The Awaken Group Sdn Bhd — a company focused on environmental progress, ESG participation and human impact — and to build ESG Starter as its first core platform.
